At River of Life, you can expect to be welcomed with enthusiasm and hospitality. No matter where you are in your faith journey, from a seasoned believer to an individual looking for God in today’s world, our doors and hearts are open to you. Each time you attend River of Life, you are an answer to prayer and we look forward to welcoming you soon.

How can I learn more about River of Life?

The staff at River of Life looks forward to meeting you to answer any questions you may have about the church. The Connections Room is your opportunity to ask questions and receive information about ROL, and the staff’s opportunity to meet you. As a visitor, regular attendee, or member of River of Life, you are an answer to our prayers! Please allow our pastoral staff and congregation to get to know you better by stopping by the Connections Room on Sunday morning.

I am interested in learning more about a relationship with Jesus. Who can I talk to?

We would love to tell you more about what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. We would also love to hear what your thoughts are on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Any one of our pastors welcome the opportunity to meet with you, just call the church office at 763-441-7527. If you are curious about Jesus, the basics of being or becoming a Christian, or the Bible in general, our Pathfinders class is the place for you. How do I become a member of River of Life?

River of Life is filled with God-loving individuals who desire a heartfelt, fulfilling relationship with Jesus Christ and fellowship with other believers. Membership at River of Life is a significant step in committing yourself to the beliefs, direction and values of the church and includes a willingness to commit oneself to River of Life through service, attendance, sharing talents and gifted-ness, as well as financial resources.

Membership at River of Life begins with our Pathfinders class. This class starts you on your path to membership. Please join us for our next session.

What about baptisms at River of Life?

Baptism at River of Life is based on the Biblical teaching of “believer baptism”. This means that baptisms are reserved for those who have placed their trust in Jesus Christ and are capable of making a confession of faith. We hold baptism celebrations throughout the year on Sunday mornings. Baptismal services are a time of testimony, joy and thanksgiving! Call the church office today to learn about the requirements for Baptism at River of Life.

Does River of Life offer child dedications?

River of Life celebrates life! Following the Biblical example of Hanna in 1 Samuel 1:20-28, we dedicate children to God. Child dedication services are a true blessing to us. We appreciate the opportunity to formally dedicate your child to God and publicly pronounce your commitment to serve God in your home. Child dedications take place the second Sunday of each month during Sunday morning worship services. If you would like to have your child dedicated, please place your request with the church office at 763-441-7527.

What is River of Life’s denominational affiliation?

River of Life Church is a free and independent body, in cooperation with the Evangelical Free Church of America. More information about the Evangelical Free Church of America can be found at www.efca.org.

How do I schedule a wedding at River of Life? Is there a wedding policy?
