What to Expect

All sorts of people call River of Life home.
We don’t care what you wear, who you’re voting for,
or how many tattoos you have
because we are all imperfect people.
Here’s what you should expect on your first visit.

When You Arrive

You’ll be met with a warm smile by a member of our Welcome Team.
Let them know it’s your first time and they’ll show you around.

Welcome Desk

We want everyone who comes through our doors to feel welcome. Our Welcome Desk staff is available to answer questions, provide information and show you around campus.

Coffee Bar

Show up a little early to get yourself a free cup of coffee and meet some new people. Our foyer is always full of people chatting over a cup of coffee before the service!

Parents

We strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment in our
Nursery, Sunday School and Student Ministries.
We have a thorough check-in system to insure that your children are safe and cared for.
You’ll receive a Parent Tag with a unique number
every time you check your kids in on Sundays or Wednesdays.
Hang on to this tag for easy check-out after the service.

Worship

Our worship team strives to lead us in worship through their focus
on excellence in musicianship and their abandoned passion for Jesus.
This portion of the service usually lasts about 20 minutes.

What happens in the middle?

Usually in the middle of worship but sometimes at the end, one of our staff will welcome you, give a few announcements, and pray for the offering.

Teaching

Pastor Dave is committed to proclaiming the good news of Jesus
through accurate biblical teaching and relatable everyday application.
The message is the primary aspect of our services and lasts about 45 minutes.

Communion

Communion is an important
part of our spiritual lives,
so we take it the first
Sunday of the month.

Prayer

Our Prayer Team is available after the message every week to pray with you for whatever you might be facing in life.

Check-Out

If you are a parent, take your Parent Tag to our classrooms
to check-out your kids
after the service.

We can’t wait  to meet you!
